I'm sure there are a lot of stories about different diets. My favorite is the 100 year old lady that smokes, drinks whiskey, and eats bacon everyday...... and I agree about the difficulty of staying on any strict diet, including Plant Based is difficult. Can we achieve healthy results by cutting out 90% of our meat protein, or 90% of our sugar, or 90% of alcohol? Maybe?
Dr. John McDougall and many other Plant Based diet doctors ask patients to work towards the best diet, even McDougall jokes that he cheats once a year on Thanksgiving.
