The first two days, I was required to eat a "Pre-Fasting" diet to prepare the body for the Fasting process. The first two days food included Fresh Fruits, Steamed Veggies, and various bean soups....and water.
I started the water only fast on Day 3....Yes, WATER ONLY.
I'm hungry...but focused on my goal to get reduce of my inflamation, sore joints, high blood sugar (pre-diabetes), high blood pressure, and lose a few pounds.
Obviously, I've already lost a few pounds and clothes are starting to get a little loose.
The True North facility is a live-in facility with about 40 people stating here at any time. People come for many health reasons searching to re-boot their body and fight off Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, and all sorts of Immune System problems.
There is daily yoga classes and afternoon lectures everyday.
Today we had a presentation by psychologist, Dr. Doug Lisle.
